FAQ
FAQ
Common questions, short answers.
What does Yieldelo do?
A free reading site from The Nelson M Group LLC. Yieldelo walks through personal finance information in everyday words, with no sign-up needed to read.
Do you offer savings accounts?
No. We publish educational notes only.
Who gets my information?
Nobody who sells financial products. We do not sell, rent or share your personal information with banks, lenders, financial companies, lead buyers or other partners. You can see exactly what we collect in the Privacy Policy.
Can you recommend a good bank?
No. We do not recommend, rank or refer banks, lenders, apps or advisers, and nobody pays us to mention them.
What do I get when I sign up?
A first guide on your chosen topic by email (only if you give one), and, if you ask for them, short texts that link back to the same guides.
Can I open an account or apply for anything here?
No. Yieldelo only publishes information. To open an account or ask about your own money, contact your bank or credit union directly.
How can I remove my information?
Click unsubscribe in any email, or write to [email protected] and ask us to delete your information.
Are your APY examples real?
No. They are illustrations.
Which fields are required?
Not at all. Email, mobile number and ZIP code are optional, so the form needs just your name, your topic and the privacy checkbox.
Do I have to agree to texts?
No. Texts are optional, with one unchecked box. You can sign up without ticking it.
Will you review my finances?
No. We never see your accounts or give personal advice. We explain the concepts so you can ask better questions yourself.
How frequent are the messages?
Message frequency varies and runs up to about 8 a month. Message and data rates may apply.
Can I cancel the text messages?
Reply STOP to any text. Reply HELP for help. You can also email [email protected].
Is Yieldelo a bank, lender or financial adviser?
No. We do not offer loans, credit, accounts or investments, and nothing here is financial, tax or legal advice.
